Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)

EGH is committed to the sustainable design and construction standards as promoted by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). Our commitment is evident in the design of our own Biloxi office which received Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design (LEED) Certification from the USGBC.

The firm's Biloxi office is LEED Certified and incorporates many unique features of "green friendly" design. From the no VOC-emitting paint and furniture to the bamboo flooring and bio-composite sunflower seeded cabinets, every component was chosen and designed specifically for its environmentally friendly attributes. EGH is also in the process of designing our new Jackson office to meet LEED Silver requirements for commercial interiors.

Principal Mark Lishen, AIA is one of the firm's 17 LEED accredited professionals. When Mark achieved his LEED accreditation, he was one of the first in Mississippi to achieve the distinction.
